Discontinuation of Microsoft Teams Classic as of June 30, 2024

Effective June 30, 2024, Microsoft will discontinue the operation and support of the Microsoft Teams Classic application. From this date onward, Microsoft Teams will only be available as a new modern application (the icon will have a “NEW” label) or as Microsoft Teams online via a web interface.

If your computer has not been automatically updated to the new version of Microsoft Teams, it is likely that you are using an older version of the operating system. To continue using Microsoft Teams, it will be necessary to reinstall the operating system to a newer version. For system checks and potential reinstallation, please contact the Helpdesk at extension 5846 or via email at helpdesk@vse.cz.

Important notice: Reinstalling the operating system will result in the deletion of all data on the computer. It is essential that users back up their data beforehand; otherwise, it will be irretrievably lost.
