A sufficient quantity of revalidation stickers has been secured for the calendar year 12/2024 to cover 100% of the requirements of all ISIC-licensed VŠE ID card holders. Therefore, it is not really necessary to try to pick up the ordered and paid sticker immediately on the day of the start of the issue and form large queues. Please try to react flexibly to the situation in front of the issuing counter so that you do not have to spend too much of your time there.

Combined and distance learning students are not eligible for an ISIC licence and therefore cannot order and purchase a revalidation sticker.

4. Job Description [menu]

Office of Administration of ID Cards deals with:
  • production and distribution of new multifunctional identification cards (MIK) to all students and school staff
  • production and distribution of new multifunctional identification cards to external school staff and external readers
  • any issues associated with the functionality of the cards
  • prolongation of validity of the cards with ISIC and ITIC licenses
  • recharging the electronic wallet MIK

 5. ID card Usage Options [menu]

The contactless card has two basic areas of applications:

1) visual – as proof of membership to VŠE (student, employee, external reader, external person, etc.)
2) digital – rights and services related to chip usage

Usage Options:

  • electronic wallet (payment for copying, printing, etc.)
  • ISIC/ITIC cards
  • purchasing food in the canteen
  • borrowings/renting from the VŠE Library
  • user authorization to access the computer network
  • entrance to restricted areas of the building (computer classrooms, library, etc.)
  • administrator rights for the operation of individual services (confirming borrowings in changing rooms, issuing cards, receiving payments, etc.)

Possibilities of further expansion are still open (entrances to parking lots, entrance to the VŠE dormitory, etc.)

This results in a relatively high potential for card misuse in case of embezzlement.

In case of loss or theft of your card, immediately inform the office of Administration of ID Cards, which will immediately block the card and other necessary measures against misuse of the card.

Please refer to other issues there, such as card damage, malfunction or issuing a duplicate. In the event of damage to the card, its life is rapidly decreasing, so do not forget to arrange for a new card in time.
The card may be inoperable even if it is not visibly damaged (e.g. after exposure to high pressure, bending, twisting, or excessive temperature).

We thank you for your cooperation and we hope that the card will serve you to your full satisfaction for a long time.
