I Received Fraudulent Message

The attacker tries to get sensitive information such as passwords or credit card numbers. The email contains a link to a fraudulent website.
The attacker’s goal is to install malicious software on your computer. The email contains an infected file or convinces you to download the infected file from a fraudulent site.

Three simple steps

  1. Check if this is already a known case.

  2. Forward the suspicious message to helpdesk@vse.cz (preferably including headers).

Three more steps to deal with a fraudulent website

  1. Report the fraudulent website to Google.

  2. Report the fraudulent website to Microsoft.

  3. Rejoice that you contribute to increasing the security of the Internet.
