TikTok – security measures

The Cybersecurity Management Committee of the VŠE has discussed the NÚKIB warning No. 2236/2023-NÚKIB-E/350 and approved the following measures regarding the use of the TikTok application/service in relation to the study system:

1. Administrators and staff with elevated privileges in the study system (InSIS) must not use TikTok on University-owned devices and also on private devices from which they access the study system.
2. Other users, including students, are advised to uninstall the application from devices from which they access the study system.
3. The IT Center will implement appropriate technical measures to detect TikTok communications in the University environment.
