ISIC electronic revalidation stickers 12/2026

Dear Students,

we would like to inform you about an important change in the process of extending the validity of ISIC student cards at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE). This change will take effect from the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026.

What is changing?

  • Physical revalidation stickers will no longer be issued.

  • The validity of the card will now be verified exclusively electronically via the Alive App mobile application (available for all smartphones in Google Play and the App Store).

  • The plastic card itself remains the same; only the method of validation is changing.

How will the electronic revalidation work?

  • Ordering and payment of the revalidation will take place as before – via InSIS.

  • The electronic revalidation ordering system will be launched on Monday, September 29, 2025. All students eligible for ISIC revalidation for the upcoming academic year will receive an informational email in their university mailboxes. This email will contain detailed instructions on how to obtain the electronic license. The instructions are also available here.

  • After the payment is completed, the validity of the card will be automatically extended in the system. Depending on the chosen method of payment, the electronic revalidation will be available within approximately 15 minutes of ordering and paying.

  • The Alive App will then display the updated validity date of the card.

  • The electronic revalidation serves as the official confirmation of ISIC validity, both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Don’t have a smartphone?

If you do not own a smartphone and cannot use the Alive App, you will need to order a new plastic card each academic year. This card will have the valid license printed on it, allowing you to continue using all ISIC benefits.

  • No personal visit required – there is no need to collect a physical sticker or send your card via someone else. This saves both your time and others’.

  • Speed – depending on the chosen payment method, the revalidation can be activated in the Alive App within just a few minutes. Detailed information will be included in the instructions sent by email.

  • Eco-friendly solution – eliminates the production of plastic stickers.
