VŠE Launches Microsoft 365 Copilot Adoption
The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is launching the adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, bringing artificial intelligence into teaching, research, and the daily work of university staff. Every VŠE employee will receive a license integrated with Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
The pilot phase of the adoption will take place during June. An introductory webinar will be held on 17 June, presenting the capabilities of Copilot and its use within the VŠE environment. This will be followed by practical hands-on training sessions on 24–25 June, focused on specific use cases in administration and teaching.
The initiative aims to support the meaningful, secure, and responsible use of AI across the university, while also developing employees’ competencies and sharing examples of best practice. The adoption of Copilot is also part of VŠE’s broader strategy to become the “first AI-native economic university in Central Europe.”
In practice, Copilot is expected to help accelerate the creation of educational materials, support publication and grant activities, and reduce administrative workload.
