Login to InSIS & password recovery

On the day of the enrollment or the following day you will be generated with login information for InSIS – username and initial password (this applies to students who have never had an account at VŠE in the past*). For the full procedure, please see the manual at our website: https://ci.vse.cz/english/network-access/accounts-and-passwords/obtaining-login-information/  

* If you have already had an account in InSIS in the past, the account will be recovered based on the rules explained in the forementioned website link. 

If you have forgotten your university account password, you have the following options to obtain a temporary password: 

• Go to the Help Desk department with ID card (or any other photo ID). Your temporary password will be set at Help Desk: 
  • Prague, Žižkov – room SB 22 
• Use the Password Recovery option in InSIS.  This option of recovery must be set in advance.
• You may request a temporary password (password recovery) by sending an email from your private contact email address registered in InSIS (this e-mail address must be set in the system in advance) to helpdesk@vse.cz. 
• Contact the administrator of your user group. Usually, you also get the login information from them. 
  • Programs for international students usually have their administrators with the right to set temporary passwords.
